News / New Writing Work - Brian M Logan
My book Monster Town was set up at Sony Studios in Hollywood, with the producer of 'Clash of the Titans' attached, and the Writer / Producer from 'The Shield' / '24' / 'Dexter' and 'The Walking Dead' attached as Show Runner.
Monster Town was developed by Sony as a major new TV series (think 'True Blood'-esque).
My current writing work is split between re-writing the second draft of DC (my new novel) and re-writing the second draft of TAW (my new action screenplay).
Aside from that I have 32,000 words of my next novel (TRW) already written, and I look forward to getting stuck into that when DC is finished and off to the publishers. TRW is an EYA book (Edgy Young Adult - ages 14-17) set in a tiny village in England called Corfe Castle. Think, 'The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe' meets 'Harry Potter', with a generous helping of Richard the Lionheart thrown in for good measure. No idea when this'll get finished though, as the commissioned work obviously takes precedence.
Also gestating is a self-help book for the Christian market (a project I really want to finish sooner rather than later), and a children's book for 6-9 year olds.
